Who we are

Let's Go Do! ("we", "us") operates the website and mobile app at letsgododate.com, an interest-first dating service. This policy explains what personal information we handle and why.

Information we collect

  • Account details: email address and password (passwords are stored hashed).
  • Profile details: display name, date of birth, age, city, bio and reveal mode.
  • Interests you select, and the connections, matches and rendezvous you create.
  • Photos you upload, which stay hidden until a rendezvous is confirmed.
  • Safety data: reports and blocks you submit, used for moderation only.
  • Basic technical data such as log and error information needed to run the service.

How we use it

We use your information to create your account, match you with people who share your interests, arrange rendezvous at public venues, keep the community safe, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

What other members can see

Before you connect, other members can only see limited profile details surfaced by the matching system: display name, city, age, bio, reveal mode and shared interests. Your full interest list is only visible after a connection is accepted. Your photos are only visible after a rendezvous is confirmed (or immediately if you choose Look First).

Age requirement

The service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and reject accounts that do not meet the age requirement.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile, interests, photos, connections and login credentials. Some limited moderation records may be retained where required for safety or legal reasons.

Security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit, row-level access rules that restrict each record to the people entitled to see it, and role-based moderation access.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Contact us and we will respond within the time required by law.
